Assumptions & Limits
- Preset values speed up the setup but do not replace final section or material verification.
- The page is designed pour fast fleche et reaction checks.
- Local code rules, long-term effects, et connection details still need separate revue.
Reference Basis
- Documentation: Methodology
- Documentation: Engineering Review
- Roark's Formulas for Stress and Strain

316 Stainless Reference
| Alloy | Stainless steel 316 |
| Module d'elasticite E | 193 GPa |
| Typical 0.2% proof stress | 205 MPa |
| Typical density | 8000 kg/m^3 |
| Corrosion focus | Improved chloride resistance |
| Preset loading | Uniform load |
| Preset section rigidite I | 2100 cm^4 |
Notes techniques
- Stainless acier 316 is commonly chosen when environmental exposure is more aggressive than standard indoor or dry outdoor conditions.
- Pour elastic fleche work, 304 et 316 behave very similarly, so the rigidite outcome is again controlled mainly by section geometry.
- Final material selection should still be coordinated avec exposure, fabrication, et cost constraints.
